Why is it so powerful? Jesus is the only begotten of the Father (John1:14). The Life that was in Jesus Christ came alone from the Father by the Holy Spirit. The Life that flowed in Jesus’ veins was very different; it was perfect DNA of the God Head, not contaminated by Adam’s sin, which brought sin and sickness into human blood. God imparted His own life into the Blood of Jesus. Peter describes it as “precious blood.” We cannot place an earthly value on it; it is Priceless! It is God’s price to redeem the whole human race, and ultimately His Church. (Acts20:28) If we honor the Blood of Jesus Christ, the Father will smile upon us with forgiveness and cleansing. When God sees the Blood of His Son, which we offer as a covering, pardon and plea, God does not see our sin at all; He only sees the covering of the Blood. It is the Blood that makes atonement for our souls (Lev. 17:12).There are many religions that don’t teach on the Blood of Jesus, and Satan is just fine with that. The devil understands the power of the Blood of Jesus, he does everything to blind Christians from the truth. As soon as we actively honor the Blood of Jesus, we stir up demons. They are very uncomfortable with God’s Children exhibiting their faith in the Blood. After all it is the Blood of Jesus that defeated him. Some people say that it is enough to just say the name of Jesus. Not so, we need the name of Jesus and the Blood of Jesus. There is power in the name of Jesus because He shed His own Blood and offered it to his Father, who then gave His power and His authority to His Son(Matt.28:18). This same power and authority is given to all believers (Luke10:19) It only becomes operative as we honor His Blood. When Christians sing about the Blood, talk about the Blood, plead the Blood or raise a WORSHIP BANNER of the Blood of Jesus, the devil gets very disturbed. The blood of Jesus is Holy, and full of life. For the life is in the blood. (Lev.17:11) We have authority that was purchased by the Blood of Jesus, and it enables us to possess our inheritance. When we apply the Blood of Jesus to our sins with repentance, it justifies us and saves us from wrath (Rom.5:9) Jesus uses his Blood to wash us white as snow as if we had never sinned, granting us forgiveness for sins. (Rev 1:5, 7:14) Through faith in the Blood of Jesus we have been redeemed, bought from the hand of the enemy. Therefore we are no longer in the kingdom of darkness but through the Blood we have been translated into the Kingdom of God’s dear Son (Col. 1:13-14). The precious Blood of Jesus redeems us out of the hand of the enemy. This Worship Banner speaks better things than the blood of Able, it cries out Mercy. (Heb.12:24)The precious blood of Jesus is the means to overcome the accuser of the brethren. For we overcome by the blood of the lamb and the word of our testimony.(Rev 12:11). Lifting this Worship Banner decrees that through the blood we have been made unto God, Kings and Priests and have been given authority to reign with Him on the Earth now and for all eternity. (Rev5:9-10) The Blood of Jesus has provided so many things for us. As I wave this WORSHIP BANNER I know that through the shedding of the Blood of Jesus I now have healing and health in my body, because Jesus bore my grief, sickness, diseases, weaknesses, distresses and pains. By His stripes we are healed.(Isa.53:4-5) Through the blood of Jesus we have been redeemed from the curse of lack and poverty for Jesus himself bore the chastisement needful to obtain peace, prosperity and total well-being for us. Though Jesus was so very rich, yet for our sake he became very poor on the cross, in order that by his poverty we might become abundantly supplied. (Isa.53:4-5; 2Cor.8:9) I rejoice to raise my WORSHIP BANNER knowing that through the Blood of Jesus I have boldness now to enter into the Holy of Holies in heaven, right into the presence of God! (Hebrews 10:19-22; Eph. 2:13) Yes I honor the Blood of Jesus as I lift up this WORSHIP BANNER!
