Hosanna

I created this Hosanna Worship Flag/Banner to honor the Jesus our Messiah! The word Hosanna comes from the Hebrew  word meaning “save now” or “save us we pray.” Jesus entered the city gates, and the people were celebrating and calling out, “Hosanna to the Son of David! Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest!” The NIV translation states: “Hosanna in the highest heaven! “Blessed is the coming kingdom of our father David! Matt21:9 By saying “Hosanna in the highest” as Jesus passed through the gates of Jerusalem and referring to David’s Kingdom, the Jews were acknowledging  Jesus as their Messiah. They were so looking forward to the fulfillment of the of the Davidic Covenant that states, his throne shall be established forever. 1Chron. 17:11-14: ” The people were crying out, “Save us , as you take your rightful throne and extend heaven’s salvation to us!” The people were calling for a immediate political change. They did not understand the great cost it would take, so the Lord could set up his Spiritual Kingdom for eternity. As we wave these Hosanna Flags/Banners  they are symbolic of those waving palm branches , with the knowledge Jesus our Messiah has come to seek and save all those who are lost; saving us all by faith through his blood.
